Sulfaxil LTS

Sulfaxil LTS is a organic sequestrant with good chelating action on calcium ,magnesium,
iron and copper.It chelates the ions over wide range of pH and temperature during preparation and colouration processes.

Features
§ Sulfaxil LTS also acts as a peroxide stabilizer in the bleach baths.

§ Sulfaxil LTS prevents occurrence of pin-holes in cotton fabrics due to its effective
chelation of iron present in the fabric during bleaching .

Application
1. In Processing liquor.

Sulfaxil LTS at 0.5-3.0g/l is added before the commencement of the process in the
processing liquor depending upon the hardness of water and the metal impurities present .

2. Dye bath
Sulfaxil LTS
at 1-2 g/l is added to the exhaust bath during dyeing operation to improve
the colour depth of the substrate .

3. Finish Bath
Addition of Sulfaxil LTS at 1-3 g/l during padding helps in softening of water .
