After scour and thoroughly rinse reactive dyeing to remove residual salt, alkali and
    hydrolysed dye.
  • To a fresh batch add the required concentration of diluted Sulfaxil NFX Ultra. Bath pH should be neutral or slightly acidic. Circulate liquor and raise to 400C. Run 20 minutes. Cationic or non-ionic softening agent may be added to the same bath if desired, or applied in a separate bath.
  • 1.3 Method of application (package dyeing)
For package dyeing – add Sulfaxil NFX Ultra ove 10 mins, i.e. over two reversals of flow, to assist even pick-up.

may be padded onto thoroughly soaped and rinsed reactive dyed fabric, or a similar concentration applied in the last box of a continuous washing range.

3. Stripping
Sulfaxil NFX Ultra is not easy to remove completely under normal, wet processing conditions, hence its durable effect on wet fastness. Should it becomes necessary to redye a batch of fabric or yarn treatment with Sulfaxil NFX Ultra, it is recommended to follow the following process:

Boil for 30 minutes with:
Formic acid (85% conc) 3 ml
Sulfaxil SA 3 g/l
  • This treatment may then be followed by a correction to the dyeing by addition of further dyestuff (re-apply Sulfaxil NFX Ultra after re-dyeing
