Sulfanol SIL

§ Sulfanol SIL can effectively control foaming in garment dyeing due to heavy
agitation
§ Sulfanol SIL is stable at high temperature over a wide range of pH.
§ Sulfanol SIL controls excessive foam at a very low dosage level where foam can
causes entanglement of the fabric leading to damage of the fabric.
§ Sulfanol SIL is stable to electrolytes

Milky white free flowing emulsion.

Composition

Blend of siloxanes.
Solubility Readily dispersible in water at room temperature.


Storage
Store in a cool dry place. Stable under normal conditions.

Application
1.Preparation of Solution
Sulfanol SIL is diluted with water below 600C with good agitation and
prepared on a daily basis and the diluted material should be used within 24
hrs for best results.

2.Garment processing
0.05-0.2g/l Sulfanol SIL can effectively control unwanted foaming in
garment dyeing.

3.Fabric processing
0.05g/l Sulfanol SIL or lower dosages have been found effective in
scouring and bleaching baths.

4.Polyester dyeing
0.05-0.2g/l Sulfanol SIL is used in disperse dye bath to ensure adequate
foam control
